About Dr. Jerome Ha
Dr. Jerome Ha is an Australian-trained ophthalmologist specialising in Cataract Surgery and Medical Retina care (Eye Injections). He completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne and a Master in Ophthalmic Science at The University of Sydney. He is certified by RANZCO (Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists) and completed his specialist training at Sydney Eye Hospital.
Dr. Ha undertook further fellowship training in complex cataract and anterior segment surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Liverpool Hospital, and an additional fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery in Shrewsbury, UK. He is also an examiner for RANZCO.
With years of experience across both city and regional NSW, Dr. Ha is known for his skill and dedication to patient-focused care. He has performed thousands of cataract surgeries at a leading surgical facility in Sydney and now brings his expertise to Canberra. Now based in Canberra, patients can be rest assured that he is readily available for Cataract and Medical Retina care.
Our modern Canberra clinic is in the Deakin medical precinct, with easy parking and access. Dr. Ha performs surgeries at Canberra Private Hospital and Canberra Microsurgery (Phillip). He also consults once a week at his well-equipped Goulburn clinic.
